Microsoft, GET WITH IT! Work along side with wacom. I cannot yet find a setting to disable this. No more drag to highlight in explorer/ any browser, the drag now becomes a scrolling nuisance.

Seems like an older post but same problem Windows 10 update October 17, 2017, screwed up the wacom driver. But whos responsibility it is to fix them - i don't know. I think these are some clues to encircle the problems. I have to click with the mouse instead to achieve it. If i click on a tab it does not become active or if i want to close a tab it's the same like in Word: the button becomes gray but it doesn't close. The tabs become unclickable pretty often. The similar is in Chrome and today i switched to Firefox: This is a clear tablet issue, because it works as expected with the mouse.
I have Office 365 since a month and if i want to minimize Word for example, the button becoms dark but the window does not react. Now I know why device manufacturers struggle, Microsoft just did not provide anything to clearly state “Hey, this is how Windows 8 or 8.1 or 10 expects to receive pen events” and now it is up to each developer to figure out workarounds.

I am a software developer, and I want to download the Demo Microsoft Pen Driver sample, and wire it to a Wacom tablet, change the Wacom input values to the one provided by the tablet, compile it and done.īut wait, there isn’t any sample by Microsoft out there! Nice there is some sample about a mouse, and that’s it.

Search Amazon for Pen Tablets, there are plenty from plenty of companies, open every one of them and look at the comments, the tablets are good, but the drivers are not, and that is repeating all over. The issue is maybe Microsoft not Wacom or the other Pen Table companies
